File Naming Convention for Drawing Files It is recommended that Departments use their current file naming convention for drawing files, with the revision status appended to the end of the filename.
File Naming Convention for Model Files
If users' quality systems require previous versions of model files to be kept, copies of each version can be placed in the Revision directory with the revision status appended to the end of the file name.
