Following is a transcript (English portion) of a media stand-up by the Secretary for Housing, Planning and Lands, Mr Michael Suen, this (December 10) evening:
Reporter: Given the amount of public attention that the focus on the Hunghom Peninsula and its future development, what will happen in future?
Secretary for Housing, Planning and Lands: Well, as I said because we have undertaken an exercise early in the year to modify the lease to permit them to upgrade the flats and to sell them in the market. That's exactly what they have done. And now that they have adhered to the terms of the lease, I don't think there's a great possibility that premium will be charged. Of course, a lot depends on the plan which will be submitted to us.
