The Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government (HKSARG), Mr Henry Tang, and the Secretary for the Environment, Transport and Works, Dr Sarah Liao, will represent Hong Kong at the celebration for the 50th anniversary of the setting up of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in the coming week. They will form part of the Central Delegation for the function.
Dr Liao will attend related activities from today (September 22) to September 29, while the Financial Secretary will join on September 29 and return to Hong Kong on October 1.
