People are invited to give their views on the greening of Wan Chai and Causeway Bay at a forum next Saturday (June 9).
The community forum, organised by the Civil Engineering and Development Department and the Wan Chai District Council, aims to collect views of local residents and people who work in the district on the development of the Greening Master Plan for the district.
The plan aims to define the overall greening framework of the area and serves as a guide for all people involved in planning, design and implementation of greening works.
The community forum will be held on June 9 in Ming Hua Hall, 4/F, St James' Settlement, Stone Nullah Lane, Wan Chai from 2.30pm to 5pm. Participants are welcome to give their views on greening in the district, including greening themes, locations for planting and planting species.
People who wish to join the forum can make reservation by mail or by phone. They may complete the enrollment form available at the department website (http://www.cedd.gov.hk/eng/greening/forum_wc_cb.htm) and send it to the Consultants, ACLA Ltd., by fax no. 2832 2110 or by mail to Suite 3801, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.
