The Civil Engineering and Development Department is holding a roving exhibition in the territory between July and September in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the HKSAR and to share with the public the major infrastructural development in Hong Kong over the past decade.
Seven topics are featured in the 11-week exhibition (1) Overview, vision, mission and values of the department; (2) Harbour development; (3) Infrastructure works for tourism; (4) Land formation; (5) New towns development and infrastructure; (6) Slope safety and (7) Greening.
The schedule of the roving exhibition in August is as follows:-
August 9 (2 pm)–August 14 Tze Wan Shan Community Centre
August 15 (2 pm)–August 23 Cheung Wah Community Hall
August 25–August 31 Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre
(Exhibition Hall)
Through display panels, models and computer games, public will gain a better understanding of the achievement of the department in infrastructure development in the last 10 years.
