King Yin Lei guided public tours
The Commissioner for Heritage's Office of the Development Bureau and the Antiquities and Monuments Office will jointly organise free guided public tours of King Yin Lei mansion from April to July.
"In view of the overwhelming response by the public to the previous open days, we will be organising eight guided tours so that people can better understand King Yin Lei's historical and architectural merits," said a spokesman for the Development Bureau today (March 9).
Led by experienced guides and conducted in Cantonese, two tours per day will be held on April 29, May 27, June 24 and July 29. The tours will take place from 2pm to 3pm and from 3.30pm to 4.30pm.
King Yin Lei, a declared monument at 45 Stubbs Road, is a Chinese-Renaissance style residence with an architectural design reflecting Hong Kong's culture of East meets West.
Please note that there are no parking facilities at King Yin Lei. Members of the public are advised to use public transport to access the venue.
For more information and details of how to register for the guided tour, please visit the Antiquities and Monuments Office's website at www.amo.gov.hk. For enquiries, please call 2208 4400 during office hours.
