Temporary suspension of flushing water supply in West Kowloon

The Water Supplies Department today (June 1) announced that the flushing water supply to some areas in West Kowloon, including the Phase 8 of Mei Foo Sun Chuen, Lai Chi Kok, Cheung Sha Wan, Sham Shui Po, Tai Kok Tsui and Prince Edward, has been suspended due to a burst water pipe.

The suspension will affect all premises bounded by Phase 8 of Mei Foo Sun Chuen and Bute Street.

Urgent repair work is being carried out by the department. The water supply is expected to resume at 10pm today.
