The Lands Department today (November 13) announced that the tenders for two residential sites have been awarded on 50-year land grants at a total premium of $3,388.18 million.
Lot No. 2640 in Demarcation District No. 92 at Castle Peak Road - Kwu Tung, Sheung Shui, New Territories, was awarded to Winjoy Development Limited (parent company: Henderson Land Development Company Limited) at $2,888 million. Tsing Lung Tau Lot No. 70 in Tsing Lung Tau, Tsuen Wan, New Territories, was awarded to Nan Hua International Engineering Company Limited at $500.18 million.
"Authority from the Central Tender Board was given to the Lands Department to award the two sites to the highest tenderers," a Lands Department spokesman said.
The tenderers, other than the successful tenderer, in respect of each lot in alphabetical order with the name of the parent company where provided by the tenderer in brackets were:

Lot No. 2640 in Demarcation District No. 92 has a site area of about 14 333 square metres and is designated for private residential purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 30 959 sq m and 51 598 sq m respectively. The total number of residential units to be built shall not be less than 515.
Tsing Lung Tau Lot No. 70 has a site area of about 4 868 sq m and is designated for private residential purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 7 360 sq m and 12 267 sq m respectively. The total number of residential units to be built shall not be less than 175.
