SDEV to attend MiC Supply Chain Conference in Huizhou

     The Secretary for Development, Ms Bernadette Linn, will depart for Huizhou tomorrow (January 22) afternoon. She will attend the opening ceremony of Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) Supply Chain Conference to be held on January 23 morning and visit manufacturing bases of MiC modules.
      
     The MiC conference is jointly organised by the Development Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Guangdong Province and the People's Government of Huizhou City.
      
     The Head of the Project Strategy and Governance Office of the Development Bureau, Mr John Kwong, will join the visit.
      
     Ms Linn will return to Hong Kong on January 23 afternoon. During her absence, the Under Secretary for Development, Mr David Lam, will be the Acting Secretary for Development.
