Executive Director of Urban Renewal Authority re-appointed
The Chief Executive had re-appointed Ms Iris Tam Siu-ying as Executive Director (Planning and Project Control) of the Urban Renewal Authority (URA) for another term of three years with effect from tomorrow (September 1), a Development Bureau spokesman said today (August 31).
Ms Tam was first appointed Executive Director of the URA in September 2006. She deputises for the Managing Director of the URA in the planning, design and implementation of the URA projects.
“Ms Tam has made valuable contributions to the URA over the past three years in taking forward the urban renewal strategy comprising redevelopment, rehabilitation, preservation and revitalisation.
“Given her expertise and experiences, we have every confidence that Ms Tam will continue to provide strong support to the URA in meeting future challenges of urban regeneration in the light of the Urban Renewal Strategy Review,” the spokesman said.
