Mr Chan said, "Through the contest, we aim to enable members of the public to appreciate the amenity value of trees and landscape and to enhance their awareness about tree preservation."
There were three categories for entries in this Photography/Video Contest under the themes of "Old and valuable trees or stone wall trees", "Seasonal changes of plants" and "Beautiful parks and open spaces".
A roving exhibition of the winning entries is being held at different locations from today to June 15. For details of the roving exhibition and the winning entries, please visit the Trees website at www.trees.gov.hk or the Greening website at www.greening.gov.hk.
