The Secretary for Development, Mr Paul Chan, today (June 27) attended the 2016 Summer Davos forum in Tianjin. This year's theme is "The Fourth Industrial Revolution and Its Transformational Impact".
Mr Chan attended the opening plenary, at which Premier Li Keqiang spoke, as well as breakout sessions on "How to Navigate the Modern Silk Road" and "The Changing Face of China". He also attended a briefing on the findings of a Global CEO Outlook Survey for 2016 which covered about 1 300 CEOs, of which about 130 are from China.
He has also met with the Vice Mayor of Tianjin, Mr Yin Hailin, during his stay and exchanged views on the cities' social and economic developments.
Mr Chan will return to Hong Kong tomorrow evening (June 28).
