The Secretary for Development, Mr Eric Ma, will leave Hong Kong for Guangzhou tomorrow (March 8). He will call on the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Guangdong Province to exchange views with senior officials on city planning and development.
Mr Ma will also visit the Department of Water Resources of Guangdong Province to learn more about the supply of Dongjiang water to Hong Kong.
He will also pay a courtesy call on the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province.
Accompanying Mr Ma on the visit will be the Permanent Secretary for Development (Planning and Lands), Mr Michael Wong, and the Permanent Secretary for Development (Works), Mr Hon Chi-keung.
Mr Ma will return to Hong Kong tomorrow evening.
