An engineer of the Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD), Ms HUI Yi-lam, Eunice, says that the first project under the Pier Improvement Programme (PIP), i.e. “Reconstruction of Pak Kok Pier on Lamma Island”, can start by year’s end at the earliest if funding is approved by the Legislative Council this year.
