The Private Columbaria Ordinance (“the Ordinance”) which regulates the operation of private columbaria through a licensing scheme, has come into effect on 30 June 2017 upon gazettal. For details of the Ordinance, please visit the website of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (http://www.rpc.gov.hk/).

This webpage provides information to the public relating to land/lease and town planning information on the private columbaria made known to the Lands Department and/or Planning Department (“the Information”). However, the Information does not serve to provide licensing requirements nor is it a list of private columbaria fulfilling licensing requirements under the Ordinance.
