The Secretary for Development, Mr Eric Ma, visited elderly households and families in need in Kwai Tsing District under the "Celebrations for All" project today (May 22).
Mr Ma said at the launch ceremony, "The launch ceremony for the 'Celebrations for All' project of Kwai Tsing District marks the beginning of the work of various sectors in Kwai Tsing District to share love and happiness with the people in need in the district.
"Starting from today, some 30 social welfare and local organisations in the district will mobilise hundreds of volunteers to visit more than 23,000 households of elderly people and families in need.
